As a real estate photographer based in the Bahamas, I’ve had my fair share of experiences with various property types. The Bahamas is a unique place which requires real estate photographers be as versatile as the market and the properties that are available.

With over 20 years experience in photography touching and dabbling into various genres of photography, I soon fell in love with the concept of real estate photography. As with each genre I went into I studies and underwent courses to learn the necessary skills to properly capture real estate photos.

As with any skill, practical application is needed to solidify the teaching process. This meant I needed a way to practice what I learned. Teaming up with real estate agents I was able to get in many days of practice improving my skill with every new session.

Becoming a Bahamas based real estate photographer took some learning as there is a learning curve that is different than most other photography genres. With the help of some the world best real estate and architectural photographers I was able to improve my skills fairly quickly.

Being a part of the Professional Photographers of America has it perks in having access to giants in the industry.

It didn’t take long to be noticed on the international scale and I soon received a correspondence from Airbnb to become a freelance photographer for their company in the Bahamas. I Shot with Airbnb for over 7 years and watched the company grow.

At this time I had so many properties under my belt that I was their first choice to photograph vacation rentals for their Airbnb Beyond and Airbnb Lux brands.

During this time I also shot for other international companies capturing Luxury Bahamian properties throughout the Bahamas. My skills have been honed over a long period of time capturing properties from the smallest to the largest and every thing in between.

The techniques I use to capture properties vary depending on what the client wants. I can offer natural light, flash, combo and twilight images of a property. Each with its own distinct look and feel.
